The Regional Center of Vocational Training and Lifelong Learning-RCVTLLL (P1) operated under the umbrella of the Region of Western Greece, is located in the regional unit of Achaia and constitutes an educational and professional training center for adults, certified by the National Organisation for the Certification of Qualifications and Vocational Guidance (EOPPEP). RCVTLLL implements several projects, educational programs and actitivtes, such as:
- Social advisory and support operations,
- Programs of social inclusion and integration in the labor market,
- Courses of literacy, courses of continuous professional training,
- Social and cultural events
- Projects of combating exclusions from the labour market,
- Professional training of the employees at their workplace.
RCVTLLL is specialized in the fields of environment, health and welfare, culture and sport, Teaching, Finance and Administration, tourism, Agriculture, ICT and Transport. We have developed strong collaborations with regional and national authorities such as the National Institute of Employment and HR Development, the National Observatory of Employment and the Manpower Employment Organisation as well as all relevant regional development actors. RCVTLLL also offers a database of professional in Achaia Regional Unity, and a forum for the reinforcement of employment in the region. As a core part of the Region of Western Greece public authority, it engages high qualified personnel of several professions trying to meet the demands of daily operation, vocational training and project implementation (economists, engineers, trainers etc); the majority of whom is experienced in adult training. RCVTLLL has implemented a series of national and trans-european initiatives with their latest experience as Lead Partner under Leonardo Da Vinci-Transfer of Innovation leading a project related to supporting new skills for jobs in rural areas, using e-training resources.
Apart for their management and coordination capacities, RCVTLL is well experienced in dissemination and exploitation activities; its regional character, its public recognition and the interrelation with other local or national actors adds value to the effort of building up a strong network of stakeholders and achieving a wide extent of diffusion of the project ideals and messages among target groups.
